Some vs any

In affirmative sentences we use "some" with both countable and uncountable nouns :
Examples :

There is some milk.
There are some orange .
We have got some onions.
She has some sugar.
He has some cheese .

In negations we use"any" with both countable and uncountable nouns.

Examples :

There aren't any apples .

There isn't any bread.

She hasn't got any water.
